Anyone have a peach preserve recipe?

Recommended Posts

So the property owners of the building I work at delivered each office a crap ton of Palisade peaches...good news, I got stuck with the leftovers no one wanted to take this weekend (about 5 pounds)...bad news I'm allergic to peaches...SO, I'm making preserves to deliver to the neighbors and make some friends..

Anyone have a good recipe for peach preserves? Yes, I googled, mostly just sugar and peaches...anyone have a secret they wanna tell me?

Thanks for the reminder!
Last trip to the grocery, I picked up some fresh peaches the size of softballs.
I'm enjoying one now.;)

***Allergic to peaches? That's tragic. [:/]:(

And watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, bananas, cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, and a shit load of other stuff....but thats another thread :P

That SUCKS!

Anyways, my fave canned peaches recipe. They turn out great, and I'm a fan of no syrup.

And this is a pretty good peach butter without all the sugar.

If you're allergic to it, I wouldn't be processing it.

Allergic doesn't necessarily mean that he'll end up in the ER just being around said stuff. It could be milder form of allergy that won't allow him to just eat the stuff.

When I used to be more allergic to apples/carrots, handling them raw would only give a mild reaction and eating them would give a more pronounced reaction.
