ryoder 1,590 #1 September 23, 2013 http://kdvr.com/2013/09/23/raw-video-moose-on-the-loose-in-broomfield/ About 2 miles from me. Strange place for it, since the only time I've seen moose in CO was in the high country around Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. FlyingRhenquest 1 #2 September 23, 2013 I've heard of moose in the state but never seen one. That's pretty bizarre. Of course, I just did see the sheep for the first time last year and I've never seen the beavers that were supposedly in residence at the beaver walk up in the park. It was a beaverless beaver walk. They removed the beaver sign a few years ago and removed the walkway around the same time. Now it's a beaverless, walkless beaver walk.I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?

promise5 17 #5 September 24, 2013 Oh please! Seeing a moose in your yard is a given here. Crud, if you want to see some if the biggest males with great horns just hang around Anchorage. No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.
ryoder 1,590 #6 September 27, 2013 While ferrying an out-of-town buddy up to Grand Lake today, we learned something new: Moose are apparently fearless. This one showed up at the lake cabin and totally ignored us standing there as it walked around the cabin stripping leaves off the aspens. We were discussing taking a pic of one of us petting it, but neither of us was quite crazy enough to be the one doing the petting."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. wolfriverjoe 1,523 #7 September 27, 2013 Well, why should they fear something as small as a man? Unless they have experience being hunted, they won't see you as a threat. And I've been told that they don't fear trucks either (Big Semi-trucks). We are taught to blow our horns at deer on or near the road to scare them away. And it works. But not to do that at moose. Supposedly it challenges them. And they will stand in the road and "meet the challenge head on.""There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." FlyingRhenquest 1 #8 September 27, 2013 Beaverless beaver liquors? At least they seem to have liquor... Probably just as well I never found a beaver. I hear they're nasty little things. Did you see that youtube video of that one killing that Russian dude? Went right for the jugular!I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?
