piisfish 140 #2 November 12, 2004 the only Perche canopies I heard of are round emergency chutes for paragliders / hanggliders. Might be wrong though...scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

IanHarrop 42 #4 November 12, 2004 Went and looked at the bid history. It looks like someone bid then bid again, raising the proice on themselves. Does this happen often on ebay? Why would it happen at all? Ron 10 #5 November 12, 2004 I heard about them. I think, they made Paragliding parachutes and then tried to make skydiving gear. I have never flown one, or even seen one. They made two types of canopies, a square and an elliptical. Thats all I got. Unless you know more about it...I would avoid it. crotalus01 0 #6 November 13, 2004 Not for beginners. I personally use one like it, and it flies as well as my Stiletto 135. i am way new to the sport but i seriously doubt that a round flies as well as a Stiletto. plus it has a slider, i have never seen a slider on a round. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD...

TOT 0 #8 November 14, 2004 QuoteWent and looked at the bid history. It looks like someone bid then bid again, raising the proice on themselves. Does this happen often on ebay? Why would it happen at all? I have never used ebay. If you notice that the selling price is 3.99 and it says"Reserve met" I am going to assume thet the bidder bid and their bid was not high enough to meet the reserve. A higher bid brought the total to the reserve price.
masterrig 1 #9 November 14, 2004 Check the Butler line of round parachutes. Manley Butler produces a round parachute with a slider. He introduced it 6 - 7 yrs. ago. Chuck
