davjohns 1 #7 October 25, 2013 I sometimes wonder how people like that survived evolution. I guess there were once hunters, gatherers, and hiders? Poor people. I feel for them. I love going to those kinds of places with people like that. It's so entertaining. Much more so in person than on this video. Then, I feel badly. It's like I'm torturing them for my amusement. Personally, I have to make an effort to relax in haunted houses. My first, second, and third reaction to someone jumping out like that tends to go badly. My brother managed to startle me one time. I thought I had killed him with one shot to the temple. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

promise5 17 #9 October 25, 2013 I thought the first 10 times I watched it it was funny. But, watching it when you're tired made it hysterical !! I'll admit I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those places. No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried. QuoteOver the course of his adventures, he has turned his cowardice into a fully fledged philosophy of life. He believes that, when running, "to" is never important, what matters is "from". When it was pointed out that running just lands him in more trouble his response was "Yes, but you can run away from that, too." By The Last Hero he's started describing running away as a religion in the valid belief that no one will take it seriously; it might not give you eternal life, exactly, but it certainly gives you more life. http://discworld.wikia.com/wiki/RincewindAtheism is a Non-Prophet Organisation

riddler 0 #20 October 25, 2013 QuoteI sometimes wonder how people like that survived evolution They are products of evolution. The animals that are smart enough to be scared and run away are the ones that survive to reproduce. Even predators are cautious - I dive frequently with sharks that are as large or larger than me. They don't swim up and eat me; they spend a lot of time gauging how dangerous I might be. It's not worth risking your life for every opportunity. Our morals about bravery, etc, are misaligned with the goals of evolution. A lot of brave people died young and never got a chance to reproduce.Trapped on the surface of a sphere.
