FlyingRhenquest 1 #1 November 21, 2013 Seems like this scam is making the rounds again. Someone claiming to be from Microsoft calls you and tries to convince you to give them remote access to your computer so they can remove viruses. No one from Microsoft is ever going to call you about that. If you have older relatives, you might want to warn them about it.I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?

bhammond 0 #4 November 21, 2013 I actually got this very scam call a couple weeks ago , the local news had a segment on this about a week previous and it gave me time to think, we they call I said " that's very interesting because I don't have a computer", they guy on the other end said lap top you must have a laptop" I said " nope no computer at all" I then said " Do you know what this means" the guy on the other end said "no what" I said " that means your lying to me and trying to scam me " I then proceeded to call him every dirty name in the book until he hung up .... very satisfying to say the least

jonstark 8 #6 November 22, 2013 I kept the asshat on the phone for a half hour with stupid questions, asking him to repeat himself because I couldn't understand his accent, explanations of what he wanted, etc. I let him take me thru their scam but when I told him he hadn't proven it was safe for me to let a stranger into my computer. -click- jon
BIGUN 1,484 #7 November 22, 2013 Next you'll tell me that Bill Gates isn't going to send me a million dollars for forwarding that email to two million of my closest friends. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
