peek 21 #1 November 29, 2013 No kidding, on PBS last night. I found it while channel surfing: "Lady Gaga And The Muppets' Holiday Spectacular" It was Lady Gaga singing, and the music was some kind of hard driving pop, at least when I was watching. (I didn't notice the lyrics.) I watched it for a couple minutes, more or less because of its "train wreck" effect. For what demographic did they make this program? Any parent of young children who has been paying attention to the actions of Lady Gaga lately surely would not say to themselves, "Oh, look, Lady Gaga and the muppets, that will be a cute show!" Would they? I thought I had seen everything!
quade 4 #2 November 29, 2013 As long as it wasn't the Sesame Street Muppets (which are specifically intended for pre-schoolers), it's no different than the what the Muppets have done during their entire existence. Not everything the Muppets do is intended for juveniles. Some of it is pretty out there.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

The comedy was complex enough and subtle enough that kids wouldn't get all the "adult" content, yet still would enjoy the rest. My sister posted on FB about it, using the "train wreck" comment too. Wish I had known about it. It would have been better than the "Train Wreck" that was the Steelers/Ravens game."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." normiss 897 #4 November 29, 2013 Ravens game was awesome. So much so the Stillers coach tried cheating. To no avail.

craigbey 0 #6 November 30, 2013 Did you feel the same way about John Denver? Interesting connections between him and Lady Gaga... 1. Music 2. Muppets 3. Mother Nature Just hope she's not a pilot.
