Newbie 0 #1 November 2, 2004 i have never done any work on my Cypres but would like to learn a bit more. Do i need to take it out of the rig completely or is it possilbe to just pop the reserve and work on the processing unit directly? Any hints and tips i need to know? I've read through the instructions in Airtec's user guide a few times and it seems straightforward enough - the only concerns i have are shorting out the internal fuse and - if i do have to take it out - making sure it goes back in properly. Any hints or advice appreciated. "Skydiving is a door" Happythoughts
usskydiver 0 #2 November 2, 2004 IMO you should only do it under the supervision of a rigger. One of the 2 screws can be a bit tricky and you rigger will most like know the trick so you don't break the top cover or strip it out. Tim T. Any hints or advice appreciated. Since you are going to need a rigger to re-close the container anyway, why don't you get one to do it for you the first time, while you watch? If you are truely interested in your gear, why not start working on your riggers ticket? That way you can maintain your own gear.
