I thought the same thing too. The passenger almost got the ultimate selfie capturing his own death. Nice going knucklehead.

On the other hand, it's not like he had anything else he could contribute to the situation.

Long time Hawaiian skydiver Mr. Flip Hollstein was aboard that flight. I saw his name today in the story, and messaged on FB, he said that in fact it was him and he was the last one to leave, he made sure all were out of it and then swam to shore to seek help and said it was really bad @ shoreline due to major rocks. By the time he reached shore he said the CC was there to rescue them. He also said that the lady who died, was out ok and may have had a heart attack.

There is no doubt in my mind that (If I was not in either front seat) I would have done the same thing, and I sure as shit would have done a better job of filming the complete touchdown.

Plus, he puts the lie to all those myths about 'perfectly good airplanes' and justifies jumping out while they're still in the air.

This guy is a role model for skydivers everywhere!

I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
