I woke up from surgery to find what looked like an erector set on my arm. I was bit annoyed they had told me nothing about that prior to surgery.

When I told a coworker about that, he told me about his experience with a similar injury when he was a kid: They set the arm for one of the two bones, then after some weeks they took off the cast and rebroke the other bone (which was not in the desired position) then put on another cast.:S

OK, the fixator doesn't seem so bad.

Nope .. no signatures...working from home has it's down sides.



In lieu of signatures, you could print off this thread and paste it on the cast.:P
