Me too. With my broken collar bone last month they initially said "At your age, we'll need to operate."

But yesterday they cleared me to tunnel fly and use my own judgement on skydiving.

'Done & dusted' just means that something has been completed. Not sure where it comes from and I don't hear it used very often..

Sounds like it could be an old baking term.. when the bread comes out of the oven and dusted down with flour ???
