Krip 2 #1 January 22, 2014 Hi Got a police report from a incident that occured while trying to clean out 80 yrs of stuff. First time my wife is a women Second time my wife is a dude Third time my wife is the step daughter of the injured party. Only one of the three is correct. After going thru 80 yrs of crap. I'm determined to downsize, and have made significant progress. If we had a visiter in our house and it stayed in the same spot for three minutes. They might find themselves in good will, the trash or the wood burning stove. Not my fault for all I knew you could have been dead. R

David Considering that Krip is making us guess if his wife is: A - a woman B - a man C - a stepdaughter AND is threatening to throw stationary visitors in either the trash or the fire... I don't think you need to apologize for making an obscure joke. JohnMitchell 16 #6 January 22, 2014 I know Krip pretty well. He's in the midst of cleaning up the estate of a spouse's parent. His advice. . . get rid of all your junk now. Don't make your kids have to do it. Old police reports?? That is one item my kids will not be sorting thru. And I've thrown out my old report cards, tax returns, etc. I do hope to leave them a nice collection of shootin' irons, though. In the future, it won't be "here's all the family photo albums, all 100 pounds of them." It'll be "here's Dad's hard drive. Wanna check for any good files before we erase it?" My brother and I are going to have fun sorting through my dad's junk when he goes. Could be later this year or as much as 4-5 years later. That's going to be interesting. Good luck with that Playboy thing...a few select issues are valuable, especially #1 and the first few years...but you'll probably do what I did and pitch most of them. For over ten years they somehow screwed up my subscription...I always got TWO in the mail...so one got sticky, and left the other in the brown paper wrapper -then plastic...brand NEW & not worth anything. I did get a Crisp 50.00 for a 'new' Hustler...I didn't think THAT mag would be around long so a bought every issue the first year & kept them wrapped... Issue #1 is all I could get rid off. ~~25.00*for the issue back in the 70's that 'exposed' the then new 'gay blood disease'...they were pretty nasty about it - which came back on Larry when AIDS took his wife years later. *dOOd in L.A. bought it, framed it and put a 150.00 price tag on it while I was standing there. Didn't want to even talk about playboys...other than those few (which I didn't have) - worthless. Reminds me of a good buddy out on the left coast...Baseball Cards - Gonna retire by 40 on the 'investment'. Yeah, I had no qualms about the Playboy mags being worth anything, maybe the first year issues if they are in good enough shape, but those are probably on the shelf under an inch of dust. I bought a bunch of baseball and football cards in a short time frame back in the late 80's and stuffed them all in a box. Over the years, I've found that only 2 or 3 of them are probably going to be worth anything now. My best card is the Derrick Thomas one. He was probably Alabama's best linebacker ever, and still holds the single season NCAA record of 27 sacks in one season, and also holds the NFL record with 7 sacks in ONE GAME. And... he's dead too. We'd gotten the girls a Barbie doll and horse combo for Christmas. They played with it for a while and the tail broke off the horse recently. Then the grandparents came for a visit and guess what? They gave the girls the exact same thing! THAT one is up on the top shelf in our closet in the original box. Who knows, maybe it'll be worth something 20-30 years later. I didn't go whine to a mod about your post, I handled it my self with a PM to you just like I did to David Johns., I havent opened your two PMs or David why should I ? FWIW My one and only wife and I will celebrate our 39th wedding this satuday. When your into a relationship that long and deep I know exactly who and what I'm married to.39 years is no big deal, as long as there is mutual respect and trust. Some peeps at the dzs were that I allowed my wife over the years to pack my rigs, both round and square mains for me, without direct supervision. Or the benefit of a cypress or a sentinel. My Sabre one no way, I don't have any unrealistic expectations, a really bad slammer, could have incapacitated me enough that I may not have been able to use my reserve. If you can't trust your wife with your life, whats the point of being married? My reserve was packed by a rigger or my pencil. I had enough confidence in my ability to use my reserve either using the cutaway system when we were jumping the belly warts or the present SPR designed by Mr. Booth, that I would be able to save my own butt. Without a mechanical backup. Man up stop being a bully, taking cheap shots, and use DZ.com for postive vibes regardless of gender. R.
