ryoder 1,590 #13 January 17, 2014 Russell Johnson as Professor Roy Hinkley, Ph.D. ... Actually, "the Professor" was in fact a high school science teacher, not a university professor. In the first episode, the radio announcer describes him as a research scientist and well known Scoutmaster. airtwardo 7 #25 January 21, 2014 LuckyMcSwervy *********Did Danny kill him? Hey, I could've been the second Mrs. Bonaduce. True story. You too?! TTYTT I didn't even recognize him when he wouldn't leave me alone. I mean, he looked familiar but I didn't put two and two together until there was almost a fight. A few years back we were at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego for New Years...huge dinner party starting early in the evening. Danny was there with his kids. We kept running into each other outside on the deck - the only smoking area. The first couple of times I just nodded at him when we made eye contact. Poor guy was being hassled by every star struck drunk dipshit in the place. I smiled & nodded to kinda let him know I knew who he was, but wasn't gonna bother him. I'd noticed how 'careful' he was, eyes always roving...trying to avoid the jerks, trying to keep some 'personal space' when he'd get recognized...must be a pain when you just want a night out with the kids. Half way through the evening we were again outside and he came over and just started talking to me. We just shot the breeze for a while, he invited me to have a drink at the bar with him, which I did...and then he split with the kids. Said he had another party to go to for the ball dropping. Seemed like a nice enough guy...hell of a grip when shaking hands! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
