Dammit - Why does the FAA hate beer?

I call BS that the little drone could lift a half rack of bottles. I'm sure that was shot with an empty box being flown. :D

My thoughts exactly!
What's the big deal about flying empty cardboard boxes to fishermen.:S

In an interview, it was admitted that they had to take a few bottles out.:D

And that they were making money indirectly from advertising.:S

The drone in the video is a DJI Flamewheel F550. I have one (pic attached). I use mine to carry a GoPro.

The F550 can lift a payload of maybe 500g (about a pound) and still have a reasonable flight time. Although a "heavy lift conversion" is available, the model in the video did not have this. It had the standard DJI 2212 motors, not high power motors. It was also carrying 2 heavy battery packs, a camera and FPV video system, which would cut down on its payload.

No way it would lift a full pack of beer. In fact, even with the heavy lift conversion I doubt it would lift a full pack.
