Amazon 7 #1 February 9, 2014 Yesterday we were taking a wee ride and saw a farm that had all kinds of criters like Fallow Deer, Llamas, Peacock, Peafowl, and the usual assortment of other farm animals with chickens running all over. I have a hard and fast rule after some less than desirable experiences in the past.... I will own NO FARM ANIMALS. I do not like mucking out chicken coops... stalls... pastures or dealing with any form of fecal removal. We chatted with the owners and they mentioned they had a fridge with fresh eggs for sale, so I picked up a dozen brown eggs. I just made breakfast a bit ago... and DAMN I had forgotten how good REAL eggs are.. not those pseudo-egg shaped things that are sold in the stores... NOM NOM NOM... Croc 0 #3 February 9, 2014 Yep, that's all my wife buys. Expensive, but well worth it. After you get used to them, "regular" eggs taste like plastic!"Here's a good specimen of my own wisdom. oldwomanc6 60 #7 February 10, 2014 I have a neighbor who raises chickens, so I agree, they're great compared to supermarket eggs. Extra added bonus: she delivers them to my door every 2 weeks! lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB
