akarunway 1 #6 March 29, 2014 Believe it or not. My father was Vice Wing Commander at Clark AFB at the time. He was on the tarmac when the medivac arrived. The pows were taken to the base hospital under tight security. They could speak w/ a limited few until they were debriefed. He snuck 4 out of the hospital and asked what they wanted from the BX. Whiskey and cigars was all. He brought them to the house and I listened to their HH stories. Horrific what they endured. True heros all.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. BillyVance 35 #8 March 29, 2014 ryoderhttp://news.usni.org/2014/03/28/former-vietnam-pow-u-s-senator-jeremiah-denton-dies-89 He was an Alabama native and senator before moving to Virginia to be closer to his grown children. Very big on family and values. Richard Shelby is the senator that unseated him in the late 80's or early 90's (hard to remember when without looking at the article) and is still serving today."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
