Amazon 7 #4 April 2, 2014 LuckyMcSwervyI didn't feel anything. Being at the beach is NOT always a good thing. My aunt had a house at Jax Beach for 40 years... hurricanes and corrosion suck.. Along the Not-So-Pacific.. have other more immediate ramifications. I made sure I was at least 250 ft above sea level. My mom AT the beach in South Carolina... 5 ft above sea level. Superstorm Sandy sure taught a lot of people around here how vulnerable we really are. Whenever I see the tsunami warnings after earthquakes I wonder if the people in the warning areas know what to look for.Always be kinder than you feel. Whenever I see the tsunami warnings after earthquakes I wonder if the people in the warning areas know what to look for. The smart ones do... They were showing reports of mass evacuations in the low lying areas. The people of Chile KNOW what happens when the ground starts shaking. They have been hit with many many large EQ in the last 100 years.. including the BIG ONE.. in 1960 that registered 9.5 on the Richter scale
