The welders in my local (pipewelders) prolly pass their gate tests (on the job) I'd guess 95% of the time. There are a lot of variables when welding tho that can cause a bad weld. That's why they X-Ray a lot. And it is not hard to repair a bad weld unless it's totally fucked and those people don't last long in the trade.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. StreetScooby 5 #3 April 8, 2014 Most of the "blue collar" guys I know in this area are very competent, and do quite well for themselves. The TZB job is huge, and a competent guy can expect to make a lot of contacts in this area. For the right person, it would be a good gig.We are all engines of karma
