StreetScooby 5 #1 April 26, 2014 A friend pointed her out to me recently. Listening to this album as I'm cleaning up my office - Come Away With Me. My goodness, her voice blows me away...We are all engines of karma
quade 4 #2 April 26, 2014 My guess is you've heard her before and just didn't know it. She was extremely popular 10-12 years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tO4dxvguQDkquade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

BigMikeH77 0 #6 April 26, 2014 I too was, and still am, mesmerised by Norah Jones' ways. She could lullabye me to sleep at night any day. Ever. I had the opportunity to see Ms. Jones live at the Alte Opera in Frankfurt back in 2004 when I had just been stationed to Germany, but didn't take advantage - I wanted to be nice and wait until my wife got there to go see. Of course, I am divorced now but Norah Jones is still an angel. I will never forgive myself.

Amazon 7 #8 April 26, 2014 piisfishI love Anoushka. Was lucky enough to see her live a couple of times :-) and also with her dad :-) I first started listening to Ravi in the 60's and finally saw him in concert in the early 70's. Since then... I have managed to see him and the extremely talented people he drew to him about 9 times. Working with so many people in IT who came here from India.. I always seem to manage to get invited to some interesting cultural events.
StreetScooby 5 #9 April 26, 2014 Quote Working with so many people in IT who came here from India.. So have I. It's striking how good they are (in general), and all of them have interesting experiences in life, especially if they've ended up in America.
