Amazon 7 #1 April 27, 2014 just think.. someday there will be whole courses of study in university dedicated to the "middens" of the late 20th century. http://www.geekwire.com/2014/atari-cartridges-dug/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+geekwire+(GeekWire) “The findings started out very promising, with an old, dusty Atari 2600 joystick buried in the landfill. Then an “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” cartridge. A box. An instruction manual. And the confirmation of “a lot more down there.” How many more, we don’t know just yet — but at this point, we can safely report that those long-buried cartridges are actually, 100 percent there. Crazy, isn’t it!? And it sounds like some other games are down there, too: Centipede, Space Invaders, Asteroids, and possibly more. “Lots of boxes” is what we’re hearing.”

BartsDaddy 7 #7 April 28, 2014 Amazon***And this is a surprise to who? I wonder how they will view our time based on our "garbage" Well I would suggest if they want to judge us on that look at our naval bases. Cause I never saw as much shit float tested in the rest of my life as I did the 5 years I was in the navy. wolfriverjoe 1,523 #10 April 28, 2014 riggerrobWho will have boxes that can still read those old games? Atari 2600? There are still some out there. They command a premium as "Vintage." My sister and her family have our old one. It still works fine. The kids (8 & 10) find it hard to believe that those were "state of the art.""There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit."
