ZigZagMarquis 9 #2 May 18, 2014 Yeah, I had a neighbor like that once. Took care of her dog for a few days after she got taken away by an ambulance and was in the "hospital" on a 72hr hold. I too learned the hard way not to be neighborly and offering her a beer.
airtwardo 7 #3 May 18, 2014 Had a drunk neighbor show up a couple months ago...beating on the door @ 10pm on a Saturday night, wanting to 'borrow' my Harley to take his wife for a ride!? By neighbor I mean - down the long private drive we live on, 4 houses down the street on the left....met him ONCE last year. Got all pissed when I turned him down....told me to NEVER ask to borrow ANYTHING of his. Ummmm......Ok ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
JerryBaumchen 1,466 #4 May 18, 2014 Hi Jim, Quote a drunk neighbor Back in the mid-40's we had this Native American family across the steet. Every now and the mister would have one beer too many and break out his handgun & start shooting at the wife and three kids. It got so bad one night that she and the kids came over & asked if they could stay at our place until the morning. We took them & she went right back to him the next morning. Now, take that neighbor's lawnmower back. JerryBaumchen
