Also an 89 year old vet made a tandem with them.

Lots of saluting some British dude. He appears to be somewhat high ranking.

I guess its safe to say that there won't be any but maybe a couple handfuls of WWII vets left to see the 80th reunion. The end of the greatest generation is rapidly coming to a close.

The Fallen 9000 Gallery

The Fallen 9000 was to mark Peace Day. The people on the beach represented the 9000 civilians, German and Allied Forces that died on the 6th June D-Day landing conflict. This is an example of what happens in the absence of peace and is a visual representation to help us understand the loss of 9000 people.
