I was part of the Honor Ride yesterday to take Pvt. Kittle from Tulsa to Caney, KS. Services are tomorrow and we will ride up for those also. It was very emotional. For 100 miles, both sides of the highway were lined with people. People with flags, with their hands over their hearts, Truckers stopped on the other side of the median blowing their air horns, veterans saluting, firetrucks on overpasses with the ladders raised and flags massed. The bikers honor line extended over two miles.

We rode by his old home. His wife is still alive and never remarried. They had a daughter and several grandchildren; all of whom we met.

If this country learned nothing else from Vietnam; they learned one thing. To honor and respect the servicemen and women and to NVR4GT.
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Many people just do not realize the lengths we as a people do go to bring our people home. It is definitely something worth doing.

Thanks for helping take that young man home to his family.
