Who makes the best and most efficient collapsible slider?

Recommended Posts

I'm ready to order a new slider...I bought my canopy used and got new lines but the previous owner seemed to not have paid attention to the slider bumpers, anyway the brass in the slider is nicked and chiped like you won't believe...it seems like the gromets filed down with the friction of the lines at opening...so I was thinking in replacing the slider....

who makes the best slider out there? snag proof...and that offers the least resistance once it's collapsed?

Of course www.bigairsportz.com would come to mind as a first and most ovious choice...but I was hoping to hear from people like packers or gear dealers that have come across a variety of canopies and slider designs. Just an opinion on what manufactures or private rigger that hass the best slider design outhere...

Stick with the slider that was designed for your canopy. Otherwise you may start affecting your openings and flight performance. If you cannot refurbish your existing slider (new grommets), contact the manufacturer for a new one.

You can also try to contact Sally Hathaway at Paragon Rigging in Z-hills. She does most of the maintenance on Jedeis these days. I believe other than Brian himself she is the only person that regularly makes Jedei linesets and relines old Jedeis. you can email her at sally@teamsynchronicity.com She is a master rigger and I know she has made plenty of sliders.
