I don't know about Twardo, but I've gotten banned plenty of times, deservedly so, and probably should have gotten banned a few other times but didn't. My last one lasted 45 days site-wide. Since then, I've tried to behave. Any transgressions since have been unintentional and I think they know that. Last one was posting in the women's forum in response to a petite lady having trouble with big student rigs, and I offered her my unused CRW container/harness/reserve. Needless to say, the moderator was NOT happy and let me know it privately. Oops. Well guess what? The lady ended up buying it and is very happy with it. So there!
