mktoson 0 #1 October 12, 2004 I have been jumping a Mirage M-4 container with a Sabre2 150. According to Mirage, the smallest canopy that would fit in the container is a 150 canopy. Did a little research and according to PD the volume (CU. IN) of the Sabre2 150 is 338. PD also list the Stilleto 135 with the same Volume of 338. So will a Stilleto 135 fit in my M-4 container without being too loose? So far, this is the oldest I've ever been.

diablopilot 2 #4 October 12, 2004 People sometimes fail to realize that the pack volumes are not going to match up unlees they are all done the same way. An M-4 is really not suitible for a 135. That can be seen by test fitting a canopy in the container. The measurement for the Stiletto you have and the measurement for the volume of the container you have were not done by the same people, and sdo not really equate to each other. In short, don't do it, it's not safe.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
isaiah85 0 #5 October 14, 2004 Who put out those pack volumes? The method how pack volumes are figured is not 100% accurate. P.I.A attempted to put out a list of pack volumes. A great idea, but the method is not very accurate. The chart shows a seven cell PD-235 as having a larger pack volume than a nine cell PD-260. So, your better off going by what the container manufacturer said can fit in a rig, than going by pack volumes.
