Now I think at least those people who never take the time to let their partner know they are appreciated have 1 day where they are pretty much forced to acknowledge their loved one. Of course I hope never to be taken for granted this way, so am still pretty much against the overly-commercialised excuse for bumping up prices and shoving sappy shit down everyone's throat.
