FlyingRhenquest 1 #1 February 21, 2015 Someone posted this in a crockpot forum I subscribe to on Google+ http://africanbites.com/?p=11521 I made the marinade tonight and my chicken's soaking in it over night. I'll start it up tomorrow around noon and see how it comes out! If this works, the sky's the limit! I could jerk pork! I could jerk beef! There's literally no meat I would not be able to jerk!I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here? oldwomanc6 60 #2 February 22, 2015 How did it turn out? It sounds Yummy! And Kudos for the clever title, which apparently didn't turn the heads of even the most jaded members, here.lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB
FlyingRhenquest 1 #3 February 22, 2015 It was amazingly good! The whole house smelled great while it was cooking and when I took a bite I realized I'd be adding this recipe to my usual rotation. Two habeneros gave it a nice little burn without being too hot. I think three would be decently fiery. I have a pretty high threshold for such things though -- my room mate complains about stuff being too hot when I can't even taste the spicy. I was fairly conservative with the broiler but it still came out nicely crispy. I served it over some nice white rice I have. I posted a couple of pictures on Google+ here. Edit: I'm totally going to try this sauce and broiling trick with pork short ribs, too!I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?
