Remster 30 #3 January 20, 2015 ryoder http://www.cnet.com/news/the-x-files-to-return-to-tv/ You know, I was an X-file nerd. Complete nerd over it. But, I think series, especially in the US, get stretched for longer than they should. Time to come up with something new, because, I have a feeling it won't be as good the second time around. It rarely is.Remster

So, you're admittedly not as good as you once were; but, you're as good as you ever were - once? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. MikeJD 0 #7 January 20, 2015 RemsterI have a feeling it won't be as good the second time around. I rarely is. I thought it had already gone off the boil well before the end of its run - it just got dull and incoherent - and I'd lost interest. I was seriously addicted during the first few seasons, though. If they're going to resurrect it, I hope they bring that early spark back. It was certainly groundbreaking in its time. I think the high production values you see in TV shows now pretty much started with The X Files. The first season made everything else at the time look cheap. Remster 30 #8 January 20, 2015 QuoteI think the high production values you see in TV shows now pretty much started with The X Files. I think it started with Star Trek: TNG. The amount they spent per show on a TNG episode was staggering at the time, 5-6 years before X Files started. But yeah, X Files looked very sleek too.Remster
