I felt that way 1/2 way in when the wrench was dropped. coincidence I replaced the alt on my h6 last night after returning from Daytona (for the 2nd time in two days. ) It's worse, the alternator went out 3 days ago on my son's focus, and not only is this not a job I could do with my equipment, (sideways engine ), the part itself was more expensive. A few years ago, this weirdness happened with the water pump on both of those cars, in the same order, in the same interval, in the same place. I was taking my daughter to Dulles (she was on her way to Denmark) and the pump went. A couple of days later, I was picking mrowc6 up from a business trip and on the way home the water pump went..
