Hey everyone I just want to let the community know. That Fast Eddie is one sick skydiver .he has been in ICU for the past week with blood clots in his organs and massive amounts of edema .I got the encouraging news today that he's been taken off the massive doses of antibiotics and brought out to the floor . he's still in a very weakened condition and cannot accept phone calls
everybody keep some positive vibes in your thoughts for him . if I get any updates between now and then I will post them. I will make sure to post the name of the hospital and his room number when he gets a little stronger. if anybody wants to post .any get well wishes to this thread .I will make sure I pass them along to him I'm going to go see him this Saturday hopefully he will be out of the hospital by then either way I'll let him know but everybody has to say keep him in your prayers y'all

i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. Naw I wasn't low I'm just such a big guy I look closer than I really am .

Damn... Thanks for the news. I've known Eddie almost longer than most that I've met in this sport.

He used to take strippers from the Boobie Bungalow Club where he worked as a DJ and they'd jump topless with him on tandems.

he told me one time how many topless tandems he had taken I can't remember the exact number but I think it was something north of a hundred. he also holds the title of the first person to take a tandem out of the 727 jet at wffc

The rig I am wearing on this jump https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcHFRtK8YY0 was owned by fast eddie. Bought it off ebay for 800. and put over 400 jumps on it. He had Fast Eddie engraved on hardware and it was one of his demo rigs. The canopy(s) was/were a lazer 290 with the main having FM102 on the underside. I didn't know who he was until I learned about him on here.

Even though we never met I have always been grateful to you for having been able to buy that rig. No way would I have been able to afford as many jumps as I did those first 3-4 years without getting the smokin' deal I got.

I bet that free bag was fun to find that rig sure looks like Eddie's pattern I remember one time he drove all the way to Florida to give a guy a deal on one of his tandem rigs. they were just that pattern. he had two vector tandem rigs that were identical. I'm going to see him tomorrow . everybody he's in Huntsville Hospital room 713 I'll ask him about that radio station canopy
