When I went to collage for my Respiratory Degree I was sent by the Office of Vocational Rehabilatation (secondary to a severe car accident left me unable to practice being a line tech)No test other then a simple academic quiz to get the funding....may be that is what you mean but it was not the SAT/ACT This time..no test at all I just applied for a PHEAA and PELL grant and student loans-------------------------------------------------- Growing old is mandatory.Growing up is optional!! The way the education system works these days all kids have to take tests every year in elementary school and then only junior year of high school (not sure about middle) for the state and federal gov't to determine how much money to give that school. The worse the tests the more money they throw at it. The ACT's and SAT's are just for colleges to determine how smart you are and your likely hood of success at a college level.
