I'm thinking someone should make something like a Vladiball with a brain, using the cypress as a activation device. That's been done before with an old Sentinal, a 55-gallon drum with water in it and a FF tube. The AAD basically cracked open the drum releasing the water harmlessly, making the FF-bomb fall very slowly, slow enough not to damage things on the ground when it landed.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." FrogNog 1 #3 September 7, 2004 Just one Cypres cutter costs more than a Vladiball, and I think a Cypres is larger than a Vladiball. If you're trying to make something like a Vladiball skyball, only bigger, and relying on some end-of-lifed electronics, go for it. I would trade it in on a new Cypres 2. Or, if I wasn't going to buy another AAD, I'd call up whoever made the Cypres (Airtec? SSK?) and ask them if they want me to send it to them so they can have it.
