peterk 0 #1 August 31, 2004 Anyone ever see this as an option? I don't skydive as much anymore, but a couple times on my Stiletto, when it spun up, it would take me a couple seconds in a stressful situation to figure out which direction to kick. If one of the lines, or the brake lines, were red, or blue, or black, it would be much easier to see a candy cane of twists... Just an idea,--------------- Peter BASE - The Ultimate Victimless Crime
FrogNog 1 #2 August 31, 2004 I have only heard of red brake lines to assist packing, i.e. to make sure you can see where they are. My risers are contrasting colors (yellow and purple), and I found it does help a bit for the line twists. It also keeps me from hooking the canopy up backward, since the risers match the lift webs, but I don't expect that to be any use for anyone else. -=-=-=-=- Pull. hookitt 1 #3 August 31, 2004 It helps you hook the canopy up backwards? I don't know about you but I can hook mine up backwards with ease.

FrogNog 1 #5 September 1, 2004 No, it helps me make sure I don't hook it up backward. "Yellow riser to yellow webbing, purple to purple." Although, I suppose it would also help me hook it up backward if I really wanted to. But I still have some questions about that. -=-=-=-=- Pull.
