jtny10 0 #1 August 20, 2004 I am new to this sport and was looking for a used Rig in the classifieds and noticed that there was not one person from the hundred or so listings that was selling a used aerodyne container. why is this. Are they that good that they will last the long haul. Please help me out. I am a little confused Live it, Love it, Just go for it before it slipps away. Dont wait another day. mattjw916 2 #5 August 20, 2004 there also seems to be a shortage of containers/mains/reserves for people that are a little taller than average, i.e. 6ft, 180lbs... most of the stuff I see are for "little" people or really aggressive tall/skinny canopy pilots. I am aparenty the wrong size to be skydiving I am 5'11" 145lbs and it seems most of the rigs are either completely the wrong size or have a tshirt size canopy packed in them. Greenie in training. masher 1 #7 August 21, 2004 Welcome to the club. I managed to jag my rig. I saw it, and it fit and I bought it. I could use being a couple of inches taller to fit it properly, but hey.... SkydiveNFlorida 0 #9 August 23, 2004 Make sure to check out local shops, etc. I looked on the classifieds here, and had a rig sent to me to pending fitting, etc... but, it was too small. I was bummed, and had it packed up for shipment back. I visited my dz at the time (Sebastian), and I just happened to find a rig that fit me pretty good right there in the dropshop! I know that their old rigger used to sell stuff occassionally as well. So, be sure to check out your local dzs, and the listings at gear stores online in addition to the classifieds here.
