kelel01 1 #1 August 17, 2004 And are they all 172 square feet? I have one, and I have come to find out that I don't know its size, frightening as that is. I was told it's a 150, then I was told that they never made a 150, and the square footage is not on my repack card. Can't very well pull my reserve out, so . . .? Anyone? Thanks! councilman24 37 #2 August 17, 2004 go here http://www.flightconcepts.com/reserve.html 175 sq. ft. Firelites were built by Glide Path which became Flight Concepts. They've always been the same size. GP/FC canopies have a different name for each size. Relax.I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE
John4455 0 #3 August 17, 2004 I've seen them listed as 172, 175, and 176. I don't know the story, you can contact Flight Concepts. I have always wondered about that myself How do ya like it Johnny?
kelel01 1 #4 August 17, 2004 Thanks! Well, that helps a good deal, and it's a good bit bigger than I thought. Although, now I'm SUPER confused. My rigger at the time actually worked for Flight Concepts, and he's the one who told me it was a 150. I really wanna crack that sucker open now, but I guess I'll just have to wait. But thanks for the help!
councilman24 37 #5 August 17, 2004 I don't every remember them making two sizes of firelites. They always had the cricket as the smaller one. Firelite serial numbers start with FL-, Mavericks with MK, Fury's with F. Check the serial number. If it's FL assume its a Firelite and 175 or so. We had a lot of Glide Path reserves on our DZ.I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE
