Chrisky 2 #2 August 2, 2004 Well, i'm not a rigger, but i think i'm pretty good at packing by now... Usually it takes me like 10-20 packjobs to get back into all the little moves that make handling the slippy ZP easier after a long lay-off (three month no-jump winters kinda things). Yesterday i had no prob in doing a backup-backup load (jumped 1st, 2nd went up, 3rd i was on again) with my PJ, never had a mal yet (knock on my wooden head). In the beginning i used to be a packing snail de luxe though, it took me 45 minutes to an hour to cramp that student canopy in that huge container... Bottom line: the more you pack, the better you get at it. My two cents. The mind is like a parachute - it only works once it's open. From the edge you just see more. ... Not every Swooper hooks & not every Hooker swoops ...
