gjhdiver 0 #29 August 2, 2004 QuoteEarly wings were open very often. There simply wasn't enough length or stiffness to keep it pushed up into the decorative flap. Wings was terrible for a while. The Main flap is longer and stiffer and I think it's anchor point has been changed just a little as well. (sorry, I don't have a wings here to look at) It does a much better job of staying shut. Even Garreth would have to admit to how the wings main flap opened and that was just last season. There's too much video of Toe up, and the Chris's to deny it. Wings is much improved but I think the main flap should be wider. Mirage is good and seems to have been pretty good from the start. I wouldn't deny it, but both those rigs are the earliest and first Wings designs. I've been on at Tom to get his back to the factory for a free retrofit for about two years now, but if he won't send it, there's not much that I can do. We had a few problems with certain size combinations in early 98, but the new design can be retrofitted free for any user who has that problem. The new line of Wings are totally redesigned along with the Ext series. We haven't had a single instance of main flap opening prematurely on these or any retrofitted container. If any user has had this happen, we haven't seen it yet.
