In conversation that is more in line with the thread topic... if that little amount of wiggle in the hardware/webbing is a class 3 issue, is there any hardware that has caused a rig to fail the SB yet?

It's 2 layers of webbing. 1 layer of type 8 and one type 7. That's common. It's threaded through like your legstraps. The Hardware is not the same as say a Telesis.

It's not the way it's sewn since it's adjustable. Take a look at the service bulliten on the sunpath website. There's a good picture of it.

The way it's sewn is very common.

My DZ has seen gear with two different sized mlw friction adapters on the same student jav. One of them would have allowed the turnback to pull through. Draw your own conclusions...
