PhreeZone 20 #3 July 19, 2004 Which one? In conversation that is more in line with the thread topic... if that little amount of wiggle in the hardware/webbing is a class 3 issue, is there any hardware that has caused a rig to fail the SB yet?Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
diablopilot 2 #4 July 19, 2004 I don't think it's the hardware that would cause it to fail, rather the way the webbing is sewn around it.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
hookitt 1 #5 July 20, 2004 It's 2 layers of webbing. 1 layer of type 8 and one type 7. That's common. It's threaded through like your legstraps. The Hardware is not the same as say a Telesis. It's not the way it's sewn since it's adjustable. Take a look at the service bulliten on the sunpath website. There's a good picture of it. The way it's sewn is very common. AndyMan 7 #6 July 20, 2004 My DZ has seen gear with two different sized mlw friction adapters on the same student jav. One of them would have allowed the turnback to pull through. Draw your own conclusions... _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
