Thanatos340 1 #1 July 15, 2004 I was reading a discussion in the Instructors Forum regarding the use of RSL`s on Tandem Rigs here and saw the Collins Lanyard being discussed as an added safety precaution when using an RSL in case of riser failure. Are Collins Lanyards available for all Sport Rigs? If you currently are jumping with an RSL, is there any reason why you should not use a Collins Lanyard? AggieDave 6 #2 July 15, 2004 RWS has a really nice integrated collins laynard on their skyhook equiped Vector3s. That's the only sport rig that I know of that has one (that wasn't possibly added later, "outside" the rig by a rigger).--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." mnealtx 0 #3 July 15, 2004 Can someone explain the concept of the Collins lanyard to me? I'm unclear how it is different from a normal RSL and I haven't had any luck finding it on the 'web, either...Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim.
