navdeepz 0 #1 March 28, 2017 Hey everyone. I started my AFF course this year in January (as a part of my to-do list of 2017) without any prior experience of skydiving at all (not even tandem ). Finished till cat B and while at it, I learnt what a low flare can do to my ankle. Yup ended up with a sore knee and a swollen ankle .. that took almost 2 months to heal. Going back to Dubai to finish what I started and finally get my A license. So, Holla at me if anyone's in Dubai on the 13th of April. Things that I learnt till now : 1. Skydiving is a costly affair especially if I need to fly to Dubai to jump 2. Its scary but fun 3. Flare And just to add I wanted to do AFF course without any prior experience because I didn't like the idea of someone else controlling the parachute or being tied to someone PS: All kinds of advises are appreciated. skymama 37 #2 March 29, 2017 Welcome to the forums! Of course, talk to your instructor before following my advice from the internet. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
