jopa030 0 #1 October 17, 2014 Greeting guys from hopefully future skydiver. I have scheduled for next week my first course jump. I don't know details but it will become clearer when I get there and talk to the instructor. I have never done any tandem jump so far. I have this feeling I don't need one (maybe I'm wrong). I read many comments that you should probably do a tandem before course, so what do you think guys? How many of you went directly to the course? By the way I don't need to pay anything in advance or hole course at once.
 kenthediver 0 #2 October 17, 2014 Hi Jopa, Welcome to the skies! Doing a tandem before or as part of your course depends on a number of things, including, as far as I know, where you do your course, what association, and what type of course (Static, AFF or....)., whether your instructor needs you to do a tandem and so on. Just enjoy the jumping.
 skymama 37 #3 October 18, 2014 Welcome to the forums! Adrenalin was pumping and when I touched the ground I couldn't remember clearly my exit from the plane. :D I surprised myself how calm I was in the plane. Feeling is ADDICTIVE. From the moment parachute opened, my instructor was giving me instructions where, how much to turn and when to brake. Before that I had couple of hours practicing on the ground exit from the plane (small, max 5 persons), emergency situations and other... I know this is not what I'm going to experience soon but that first feeling... :)
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
