woodensnake 0 #1 November 7, 2013 I completed level 1 AFF a couple of months ago and I have decided I want to complete the course early next year. I have been reviewing drop zones that can do the AFF and the 10 consolidation jumps in 7-10 days. My first question is how physically taxing on the body is it to do this number of jumps in a short space of time? I'm in my middle forties with above average fitness. I'm considering using the Freefall University in Spain. They seem like a good bunch of guys and the weather should be good in April/May. If anyone has a recommendation for them please let me know. Thanks Si
skymama 37 #2 November 7, 2013 Welcome to the forums! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
woodensnake 0 #3 November 7, 2013 Thanks for the advice. Hopefully the mental aspect will get easier the more jumps I do. I'm sure even experienced skydivers have anticipation on every exit, that's why the keep doing coming back.
kenthediver 0 #4 November 10, 2013 Si, Welcome. I wrote about my experience - see link - at the FFU: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4342021;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread I am sure you will do well. The biggest issue is not the physical but rather the mental. I found I was getting very tired very fast! But it is fantastic, and I have returned there a number of times! Ensure you get quoted for ALL the jumps - AFF Plus Consolidation Jumps.
