LED for protrack ??

Recommended Posts

I saw on speedskydiver's helmets a LED linked to the protrack which gives visually info on altitudes (the protrack rings AND blinks), which turns your helmet into a mobile night club...
didn't see this device on L&B website.
Anyone knows where I CAN GET MORE INFO ON THIS PRODUCT ??

It was probably a Time Out Flashing Edition, I don't think the company is in business any more. They had a LED light that plugged into the unit. However, I'm sure someone with very good eletronic knowledge could rig you up one....

I was reading something about "LightTrack" onL&B's website, but the info was several years old I think...I haven't heard anything else about it. I think it's a nifty idea.

I remember reading such a question before here on DZ.com somewhere.
Somebody even posted a "weld-ur-self" instruction for it, i think.
Basically what you would need to do (in my inexperienced inagination) is open your Protrack/Dytter and weld (smolder?) the LEDs' contacts to the contacts of the "speaker"/sound device.

Voids warranty of course...
