Hi all!

A little bit about me...name is James, I'm 21...served in the Navy for 3 years and now I'm back home starting work, school, and skydiving of course :)

I just got my A license about a month ago out of Skydive Orange! In Orange, VA. Steve Hetrick, Ned, and there group of AFF instructors/coaches were the ones responsible for my training madness :)

Anyway, literally a day after I go my A license there I moved back home to California (central). Didn't have much time to say goodbye to my buddies at Orange, not one for long goodbyes anyway. Just made my first jump as a licensed skydiver over at Skydance Skydiving in Davis, CA a few days ago though! After getting my license and not being able to jump for a while due to the hot mess that was moving across the country, I was soooo happy to get back in the air again :D

Glad to be part of this community here and hope to pick up some good info.

Haha, ya I know right! I heard some pretty heavy machinery going off over there. During my DZ orientation the guy was like, "ya we cohabitate pretty well, just don't land over there. We've had cutaways and guys under reserve land over there and they've been pretty cool about it in the past and luckily nobody has gotten hurt."

All I could think about was having a mal, cutting away and saving my own life, only to land in the middle of the firing range during live fire and getting shot <_< lol

What would be the procedures for that anyway? haha

On the other hand when the weather is bad you could just walk down the street and shoot a gun :)
