Shikaka 0 #1 March 31, 2012 What's up everyone! Did a tandem a few years back and always wanted to get my license. Only problem was that I was a poor college student. Now that I have a job, its time to get it! Did my CAT A jump yesterday. LOVED IT. Safe to say I'm hooked. The jump went well. I arched, was altitude aware, and "threw" my own chute. I was told i had "lazy legs" so now I know what to practice on my next jump! (which will be tomorrow) Looking forward to meeting new people! -Kevin
hub1100 0 #2 March 31, 2012 Welcome to forums and the sport of skydiving. Congrats on the completion of your first solo jump. Sweet, huh? The advice on 'lazy legs' is not unusual since they can be hard to 'locate' when there is so much going on. In time you will figure it out. (Analogy): Many swim and few 'swim well' when they practice. My daughters both 'found their legs' in a tunnel. It cost me less for more air time. Its an idea. Again, welcome, have fun and be safe !! RobertAnyone can swim, only a few swim well. Anyone can skydive, everyone can skydive well. Practice!
