Ouragan Suits

Recommended Posts

I am interested in Ouragan suits, but as the web page is down some basic information is missing. I have been in contact with the company but they are obviously very busy at the moment.

If anyone has purchased a suit recently, or has knowledge of the products they will be able to answer my questions.

How much are the freefly suits, and tunnel suits? How much more for custom designs? What is a Dave Brown cut /styled suit?? no I am not trying to have a laugh;) How long do they take to be cut?

Ouragan suits look bad ass, does anyone have any personal experiences or comments on their experience with the company and the quality of the product? Cheers in advance

Nancy and the gang are in the middle of updating the web site. The quality of the suits is second to none. They are well worth the wait. And they just don't look bad ass they are bad ass!!! Call Nancy and she can give you pricing and other information.

Stay safe,
Mike

I just got off the phone with Nancy and here is what she said:
The base price for a freefly suit is $290, the base price for a tunnel suit is $350. Custom designs start at $65 and goes up based on how complex the design is. The custom designs are not available for tunnel suits. The Dave Brown cut is a more form fit cut than the regular suit. It has very little drag on the arms on the legs. Right now the delivery time is between 3 and 4 months and she is not taking any more rush orders as she is so backed up.

I have an Ouragan tunnel suit and it rocks! It offers tons of lift for a suit that is not too baggy. It also looks damn good ;) The quality of the suits is second to none. I have never had any problems with my suit and I have put a ton of hours on it. I am extremely happy with my tunnel suit and will be ordering a sky suit soon (and hopefully swoop pants too.)

Nancy and her suits rock. You will definitely get a badass suit that looks and flies great!

I posted some pictures of Nancy and me in the tunnel a while back here if you want to see our suits.

Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions about the suits :)

Thanks for the reply, it has pretty much answered all the extra questions I had which Nancy's original email did not answer.

I think the suits are great, the waiting time is a bummer, but it hasn't put me off. From the suits I have seen the quality seems great, and their tunnel suits look fantastic.

I will call Nancy instead of trying to email to work out how to start my order.

One of our tunnel instructors out here at PErris just got one and loves it! ALso ALex Allen, one of our LO's and an all around good flyer bought one as well and swears by it. Didn't take him to long to get it but, if youhave any questions call the PErris tunnel and ask to talk to Matt. He is a rep for them if I understood him right.

with who? Nancy? I am pretty sure her site is www.ouragansuits.com

Yup that's it, and check out the new updated site. Right now it's only available if you have Flash player installed but an HTML only version should be making its way up there sometime soon too.

A big thanks to Pixel Sky Studios for the kick-ass web site!

Oh and Chuck - I saw your suit in the shop when I was over there - it is one seriously badass looking suit! You and Katie have to post pictures after you get them.

In reality, I do a bit of everything. I have never had a "nice" freefly suit though, generally just jumping in my BirdMan Pantz when the FF mood strikes me (not that often). I figured a stylie FF suit would be nice for tracking dives and AFF with lighter people. After seeing some of Nancy's stuff in DeLand, I had to have one of her suits. I am walking out the door in ten minutes to drive to the DZ and fetch it. Pics later.

Just back from the DZ. My suit is unfuckingbelievable. Seriously. I will post the pics later.

Sweet! Nancy was really happy with your reaction to the suit. Now post some pics of you two with your new badass suits! :)
