ez2bgman 0 #1 July 3, 2011 Hello fellow skydivers. I just completed my 2nd Jump and I'm hooked! I did everything exactly as my instructor explained to me on the ground. We exited at 10,000 ft. He informed me that our exit to arch was excellent. Practiced touching the ripcord 3 times, did a couple left and right turns, maintained my altitude awareness, and pulled at 4500 ft. He even let me steer the canopy and do some left and right spiral turns. He brought us down to a perfect landing on our feet! He cleared me for my Level 3 jump, which I will be doing before the end of the month. At age 38, I can only wonder why it took me so long to get into this awesome sport!!! I am definitely going to continue on to AFF on my 4th jump.Feedom isn't free, but it's worth fighting for!

ez2bgman 0 #4 July 4, 2011 Thanks for the words of encouragement. James, you are correct on both counts. I'm doing my training through Skydive N'Awlins in Slidell and jumping from a 182.Feedom isn't free, but it's worth fighting for!
