Hi!

I just completed my 7 AFF Jumps and 2 on my own at Skydive Cuautla.
I'm loving it and this forum is proving to be helpful.

I do have a question, how long does it normaly takes to get your landing right?

Cheers,

Welcome and congrats.

For me, landings took ~ 8 jumps before I stood one up. (6 of 7 AFF jumps were butt slides). Pretty much it's timing the flare, and confidence you did it right (or close enough). And I find each time I jump a new canopy, timing may have to be a bit different. But PLFs are good to know and practice, as you never know when circumstances will force you to have to rely on one.

Anyway, YMMV. Good luck.

From my 7 AFFs I got one right. I landed next to my instructor walking hehehe. But the others not so good. I did think on now taking a camera on my helmet to check my landings and see what I can do better.

Thank you all!

You might want to check these out before you go the camera route:
