1999 Javelin ?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Have the opportunity to buy a Nov 1999 manufactured javelin (TJN)

Can anyone tell me if there are major differences in a 1999 Javelin to a new one ? - Any modifications I should be aware of and checking on ? Can't find info about the differences on sunpaths website.

Thanks

Dave.

TNJ is a very small Javelin. It will hold a 135 reserve and a 150 main tight. Unless you are very small, this is not a good choice for a first container at all.

The only major differences is that Sunpath has tweeked the design a bit to offer better riser protection and new options like the cut-in laterals, new fabrics and other little things. Only change I'd be intersted in is the new leg strap hardware that it to be more anti-slip. I jump a '99 Jav and there is'nt a thing wrong with it.

Thanks for all the replies guys, knew I could count on you! ;)

It does indeed have a Spectre 150 in it at the moment. (7 cell should pack a bit smaller so hopefully it's not too much of a tight fit)

I'll have a good look at it this weekend, along with a rigger of course. :)
